Can you guys help me out. Trying to get it to idle ok so I can sync. Was wondering were to bench set the butterfly In relation to these holes. I tried the paper clip and wd-40 straw to set them. Read the Bible on cleaning and a ton of other threads on here. The Po did put pods on and a stage 3 dyno jet kit, with 4 to 1 exhaust. IMG_20201003_130123.jpg

That hole is directly under the mixture screw.... Unless it's not the mixture screw.... The head of the screw is beside the choke/inrichment plunger.

So are you saying when the butterfly is totally closed you should only see the hole that is under the mix screw?

I can only adjust the butterfly to cover or not to cover the 2 unknown holes. Nothing I can do to cover the mixture screw, it's to far away from the other holes.

There are holes to help with the transition from the pilot to the mains.
    inside your carbs.pdf

The one in the middle is what you'll set your bench synch to with your model of carb.

I think I'll do round #2 for carb clean. Round 1 was all about the float bowls. Maybe I'll knock out those passages just to make sure.

If I do get it to idle as soon as I touch the throttle it runs up to 5000 rpm and stays there.

When I bench sync again I should see 2 holes, just the "choke" and under the mixture screw

Does anybody ever drill out the plugs to make sure every tiny passage it super clean?

the three holes are all part of the pilotjet circuit which is the mixture screw and pilot fuel jet and pilot air jet. if you spray cleaner into the pilot fuel jet cleaner should come out of all 3 holes and air jet same as when you spray down air jet cleaner should come out 3 holes and pilot fuel jet

Have then Haynes manual and read on here that it's wrong, just checking.

    Hitachi hsc32

Po put a stage 3 dyno jet kit in
    4 to 1 exhaust and
    Pods....

What the chances they took a drill bit to the jets?

Air jets look correct. Big jet closer the cylinder head.
What bike? 136 main jet seems a bit big.
Was the bike coughing and gagging near full throttle and lots of black smoke?
Have seen many problems with carbs and pods and open exhaust

Yea I haven't ran it since I put the 136 into it. The dyno jet kit said to install them, I'm thinking I'll be down sizing that once I run it.

Still need shims and a good sync. Couldn't get it to idle good enough to sync it so I'm doing round 2 of cleaning. But still have shims coming so I'm pretty much cleaning and waiting for those

IMG_20201004_232801.jpg Should this hole just above the 195 jet have a brass plug in it?

It goes to the "choke" plunger and down to the brass tube in the float bowl

    Merged threads for clarity.

OP. I stumbled across your profile posts (those are net forum posts, so nobody will answer your questions there).
I see that the PO put in the jet kit, not you. Check that the slides weren't drilled and then go back to stock jetting to get the bike running well in stock condition (even if the exhaust was changed). Is the stock airbox intact? Are the valve clearances in spec? Are the carb floats wet-set?

The slides were drilled, I checked with the bit inside the dyno kit.
I didn't get the airbox with the bike, it already had the pods.
Shims are coming there are 3 or 4 that are just outta spec.
    Has a 4 into 1 exhaust
I did wet set the floats but tried to match the level of the carbs on the bike. not perfectly level. So they might be a little lower then 3mm below the gasket face
