    I just saw this backrest on Ebay. I'm planning on making my own, but I know how everyone is always looking for these unobtanium parts.
    It's not too far from my house so if you want me to store it for a while (on the back of my bike) I'll do it for a very small fee. I can even supply some armor-all to clean it up a bit.

    Currently riding an XJ700X when I can.
    Also restoring another one that I bought for parts, but was too nice not to fix.

    I put a decent backrest from one of my 700s on ebay and that sucker skyrocketed to $200. couldn't believe that. didn't pay much more than that for the bike. They do fetch a price.

    Wow I feel lucky...I grabbed one up before christmas for 14$ shipped from texas..total was 32$.

    ive got one if your still intrested it came off a 81 700 has the spacers and light rust figure i can sell it cheap for under 50.00 bucks plus shipping
