Is it possible/feasible to add a cig lighter adapter to a XJ700 so that I can hook up my Sirius Sat radio so I can be listenin to some Howard Stern while cruisin down the roads? If so how would you do it?

Not being a X'er like you guys, I can only give general advice on the tapping of a supply line for a cigar outlet. There is on my machine (xj650) a tap line available inside the headlight bucket good up to 5 amps. I'm curious to know if you have a similar option. Regards!

You could just run another line off the battery with an inline fuse mounted as close to the battery connection as possible. This would have the cigar outlet hot all the time, unless you also add a switch in the line also.

I have been thinking of this too, but to charge a cell phone. Has anyone come up with a neat way to hold a cell phone on the bike?

There are a few automotive means to hold a phone that would lend themselves to motoring. I've even seen some for marine applications. Hit the boat shops (West Marine, etc...).

RAM, while not cheap, makes mount to attach just about any gadget to just about anything else - suction cups, clamps, beanbags, etc.

I keep meaning to buy one for my GPS, but haven't yet. Have heard very good things from folks who have them, though.
