Swapping gages

    Has anyone out there swapped the round speedo and tach from a 81' 650 Seca to a 81' 750 Seca with the giant black box gages. Not sure what to do with all the idoit light wiring ??????

    No, but I put a set from an XS1100 with 160 MPH speedo on my Seca.
    The process should be the same but you need a set with an electric tach.
    None of the connectors are likely to fit so you have to do some splicing to connect the correct wires so you can get the neutral, high beam, etc. lights to work but that's not hard since the wire colors are probably the same.
