    Hello again I need bit of help rebuilding my clutch on a 1980 XJ 650 page 99 of the Haynes manual item 15 shows a spring on the release shaft but mine does not have one and looking at different videos and photos I can not see this spring anybody have a photo of this in situ. Thanks for any help.
    Part number 90508-16459.

    Thanks to Big Fritz52 for his write up on the 550 clutch I now know I am not looking for an internal spring [​IMG]on the shaft.
