hello, just changed the fuse box on my yamaha xj400 4v7 and now the bike doesnt run anymore, there is no spark and only 2-3 volt at the coil It is supposed to be 12 I think, I cleaned some ground wires and charged my battery but still no spark.Does anyone know what could be wrong i am quite sure i wired my fuse box correctly and there are no blown fuses.
Thanks for the help in advance.

measure for voltage at fuse , if you used crimp connectors it could be you crimped insulation and not wire.
measure voltage at main fuse then at each fuse input side .and output side with fuses removed

could be you mixed up the wires

I would say it's almost definitely not a coincidence that this happened when you swapped your fuse box.

Key on, measure voltage at both sides of the ignition fuse, relative to chassis. Both should be battery voltage. If one isn't, it's a bad fuse, or terminals. If neither is, problem is upstream, like at the main fuse. If both are, then trace out that red/white wire to where it gets to the coils.

thanks for the responses, i measured the voltage at the fuse box and i'm getting 12 on every connection, just to make sure i wired it correctly:the main power red to red 20amp fuse, brown to brown, red and white to red and white and red and yellow to red and yellow is how i wired it.is this correct? and all the connections seem to be good. any ideas on what could be the problem? thanks

disconnect the wires from fuse box keep main hooked up
find the 3 wires that are hot have 12 volts
hook them to the 3 other wires

hello , finally got the bike running again turns out there was a bad ground from the tci so i added a ground cable from the tci mounting point to the frame and that fixed the problem.
    thanks for the replies.
