Decided to bite the bullet and picked up a 1982 Yamaha 750 Maxim last year. Only did so because I knew the guy, he's a music/choir teacher and needed some money to purchase a Mac for school projects. It's been 20+ years since I've owned/worked on a bike, I forgot how much I've missed it. Seeing how this community is very active and helpful, I don't think I will regret this decision for one moment

Welcome, loads of useful stuff on here, and people too. Don't forget the age of your bike and what it might need to bring it up to scratch.

Welcome. I also am a new member after purchasing the same year and model of bike. The amount of information on here is massively overwhelming for a novice hobbyist like myself! Have fun, and share a picture of your ride if your willing!

Well, if a music teacher owned it, it must be good........and with a last name like PIANOwski, you’ll fit in just fine here.
