Mystery Blue wire, where does it go.

    Just picked up a 1982 x75 maxim for free. Plan is to turn it into a bobber.
    Trying to get it started and have this blue wire not sure where it goes. I believe its a solenoid relay.

    That appears to be something non-stock that has been added on.............what is the "device" inline within the wire, and, where does the other end of the wire terminate?

    Yeah looks like a lot of “custom” hack wiring there. That appears to be a circuit breaker but can’t say for sure from the picture.

    What are the No start symptoms?

    I think I discovered that it's not necessary.
    I think I'm dealing with a starter clutch issue, and gummed up carburetors. I was able to get it started with starter fluid, so that was good enough for me to commence with tear down.
