Hey everyone. So I was adjusting the valves on my XJ550 via the zip-tie method. I had folded the zip tie over and taped it together to make it thicker for when the valve grabbed it. Unfortunately, it kept the tape when I pulled the zip tie out. Now I have two different pieces of electrical tape stuck in my cylinder. How can I get them out? Would the burn up enough to leave when I start the bike?

Never mind I got it out. Blew air from a compressor til I got lucky and the tape was visible through the spark plug hole. Then I reached in and grabbed it with one of those spring-claw-grabber things

I find that a good insulated 12 ga house eclectic wire works very well. Great fix with the air compressor.

I have a piece pre-bent hanging on my toolbox, works great!
