Mysterious numbers

    I'm slowly starting preparation on cleaning my engine (XJ650 1980 4KO European model) for re-painting, when I found these letters and numbers engraved upside down on the part of the engine where the starter motor is "plugged in". Anybody seen this before or knows what it means????? Found some more....
    Thanks for your input or ideas.

    I believe at least some of the numbers have to to with bearing sizes related to the crank, and the pair may be to make sure that pared crank cases stay paired.
