    Hello.

I'm Shawn, from middle of nebraska.

I bought a 1982 yamaha seca turbo, of ebay, last weekend. This is my first bike and also a none-running project bike. Sound like fun yet? Oh it is.

I'm not new to fixin things. Have a bunch of cars and such, just always wanted a bike, and my first bike had to be something special. The right bike at the right time in the right location, ebayer was from same city. We'll see!

I've done cars as a hobby since i was 10, and for a career i've been doing computer repair, I just recently started out on my own with a few other friends. http://grandislandcomputers.com is the website, Grand Island Computers is the name.

    Anyways, just a howdy howdy

Eek, indeed! Looks like you've got some work ahead of you. Should be worth it though. Those turbos are good fun from what I've been hearing.

If you're planning on going stock, you might want to give ChopHead a buzz. He'll probably have some pieces that you'll be needing... Tank, trim, etc.

man i should have noted, this is a complete bike.

tank, seat, fairings, all in good condition. Just removed from the bike, the ebayer wanted some 'street fighter' bike. idk. I don't get the point of that but anyway, i want all the plastics back on.

i say another day of work and she should be ready to go!

after a day of cleaning connectors and such, the start will fire every time instead of randomly like it was.

    all sensors good.

I just have a fuel line routing problem, as they aren't right and i'm not sure how to get them right.

I know buying a manual is an option, but that option's 20 miles from where i am. :)
