HI all am replacing the brake line setup on my bike to a race setup and have a double banjo fitting should i use any sealing tape like plummers use to ensure an airtight seal or just torque it up.

It's the copper gaskets that do the sealing. No tape on the theaded portion of the banjo bolt is required.

I don't use tape on the Banjo's ... but, I do add a couple of layers to the Bleed Screws.
The tape helps seal them nice for no sneak-back air during bleeding and keeps them from binding as good as any AntiSeize Lubricant.

You have to make sure you don't seal-off the exit hole, though ... or, it defeats the purpose.
