Has been awhile, bought this from the original owner back in 2019. Had the week off and my son is home from college and had a day off so we knocked it out. Wooooo what a blast to ride!!

    • New Tires D404
    • New brake pads, shoes, and lines
    • Carbs by hogfiddles
    • Tapered steering bearings
    • Rebuilt MC and calipers
    • Shim swap and vac sync/tuned
Big thanks to the usual @hogfiddles for the amazing carbs, @chacal for parts, and @Wayne Passow for the "back to black" tip on the rims. I was originally going to do a full resto like the Maxim but it's only original once and this will clean up nice.

    Here she is!

    Very nice, @jayrodoh!!

Is that the original paint on the engine? If so, could you please take some pictures to document for us exactly where they started/stopped the unpainted parts of the cooling fins once they wrap around the front and back?

I have an engine with original paint, but the paint is in such poor condition that I can't use it as a reference.

    Thanks!
