Yesterday I purchased what is believed to be a 1982 750 Seca. Over the course of my first day with this project i’ve realized maxim parts are easier to come across and so I wonder how much is compatible? I’m in need of a throttle assembly, is it possible to save some money by using maxim parts?

    Thanks

With hand controls as long as they fit on the handlebars if there's the will there's a way. Check out https://xj4ever.com/catalog/a-catalog-index.html - there's a lot of great info about parts and interchangeability. So far as I know the differences between a Seca and Maxim are mostly cosmetic.
