I decided to rebuild the fuel cock on my 1987 Yx600 Radian yesterday. It was full of junk from the tank interior treatment my friend (previous owner) used, so I’m glad I did it.

Unfortunately I dropped the ball/ bearing that allows to valve to apply vacuum. The OEM part for the fuel cock assembly is 1UJ-24500-00-00 and I believe it’s been superseded by 3AL-24500-00-00.

I’d say the best option is to find a replacement “ball”. Does anyone have one?

Next option is to buy a used one on eBay for $20. My concern with this is that it may be missing the part I need. Potentially another $20 down the drain.

There are several other options, buy a brand new OEM, buy an aftermarket, etc.

Does anyone have one of these balls I could buy?

If not, what’s my next best option? (Yes I’m probably overthinking this , but that’s what I do :) )

    Thanks!
