Just got a donor bike (xj650 with hsc32 carbs) and the carb has 2 needle valves that were cranked down by a gorilla.
What size tap do I need to chase those threads? I have since extracted the stripped needles but the threads need help.

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: this is for the needle adjustment screw next to the choke plunger. Thanks.

The pilot screw thread is M6 x .5

This was as measured on the HSC32 from my 750. I assume they aren't different on the 650....
