Morning. I cleaned the carbs this past weekend and I'm wondering if when I had gas overflowing because the needle seats were filthy, is it possible for gas to have gotten into the air / fuel mixture screw and hardened the o-ring? The reason I ask is I can't adjust the air / fuel mixture. It shows on my color tune as white no matter how closed or open I have the screw.
Another question would be for the size of the o-ring in case I can get one locally.

No the gunk for the gasoline will build up over time no matter how hard you clean them, I suspect the passages leading up to the pilot screw are also filthy and this is why you can't fatten the mixtures. That teeny-tiny little O-ring is not easily sourced outside of a rebuild kit but our site guru and parts expert Chacal might have more ideas. I work in 2-way radio and that little O-ring is also used in some electronics, I'm using silicone rings at the moment which don't age out like the black rubber. They're used as a backing seal for Amphenol SMB connectors and are $21.00/each.

I gave the carbs a good soaking and sprayed the holes with carb clean and blew them out with compressed air. I'll poke around in them some more when I get home from work.

Finally had some time to get some work done on the bike. I took the carbs apart again, and cleaned the needles and passages and cleaned and polished the float seats again. Everything back together, synced color tuned and synced again. Running really good now just in time to park the bike for winter.
