Hello fellow Riders. I installed a set of 412s on the rear. At the 10 000 mile mark they are worn out. Is that a normal Lifespan for the 412s? I'm having a little trouble sourcing other brands. Any Suggestion would be great. Merry Christmas. Bike 520 Lbs wet, Me 180 Lbs. No passenger. Rough Alberta Prairie Roads..

    There's your trouble.
Normally expect four or five times that on smooth tarmac, even on cheapies.

Are those shocks not rebuildable? An email to Progressive might be helpful to you.

Progressive should work with you. Just guessing they are worn out? If Progressive has a way to test them, that would be great. Might only cost you shipping cost. Give them a call or email.

What tyres do you use Dave? What mileage do you get approximately?

Usually Avon front and Maxxis rear, typically 8 to 10K rear, twice that for front.

That's about it. The Maxxis ones I've been using are slightly different, but older stock. Probably exactly the same tyre, but they change up tread patterns and numbers every so often.
The Avon Roadrider Mk II is the best front I've ever used, it suits every bike I've tried it on so far.
