You sure like your long drives, don't you? You drove another 14+-hour round trip for the tech day I met you at in October.
Make sure you update us on your project. As they say, "pictures, or it never happened." ;)

Even when you have garage space, it ends up getting filled up with bike and projects. I guess that is why farmers here in the USA have all those out building all full of stuff. Two bikes in my insulated shed now and eight others in my long shed. Even with space always seem to run out with when it comes to project bikes.

Well, it's still there and the weather is supposed to be in the 60's this weekend with zero chance of precip. It may be a sign that I'll be doing a road trip soon. If I counted right, I think this will be #10 & 1/2.

Get enough of those half bikes and they make a whole!

You will win for sure, I know the the years of seeing your posts and added content that you really love them and almost can't pass them up. If you can afford them, have room and enjoy it, keep it up.

I kinda have a rule, no more than 13 at a time. If something I can't pass up does come by, I will have to grab it. Things in my area of Wisconsin are slim pickings this yr. I like bikes 650cc or above, and I have some that I will just not get. The joy of working on some bikes is lost with how the engineering team put them together.

Well, the weather has been gorgeous this weekend, but "the sign" didn't pan out. Been trying to get ahold of the seller for several days and they aren't responding. I never understood why people list something for sale and then don't respond to potential buyers. Same thing happened when I bought the 900. I kept sending messages for a month with no response. Wasn't until after the ad had expired and I have given up hope that I finally heard back.

    Is it really a 900? Looks a lot like a 650 frame/forks

Can't really tell from the crummy photos but I don't remember seeing the veggy slicer rims and drum brake on a 900. Something stinks here... let me check the bottom of my shoe. Is the shifter specific to the 900 motor? My money's on a 650 with straight bars.
Pulled some search engine images of an XJ900, sure wouldn't mind planting my fat self on one of those. Sweet machine
