    A couple of competitive folks REALLY wanted it as in its last couple of minutes the price went to $3300. At least now it is in the XJ900 data base.

    Wow. It's not even a perfect specimen. Mine is in better shape and I paid a lot less including the $1500 worth of parts to get it road worthy again. Whoever bought it is still going to need to at least invest in some tires. Probably needs a brake job too. Though it sounds decent. Gives me hope that when I'm gone, somebody can recoup my investment. ;)
