Rear axle nut thread pitch?

    Anybody know what the rear axle thread pitch is? I lost my castle nut and Yamaha discontinued the part or at least that's what the dealer said, so I need to buy a replacement. Thanks in advance

    Do you have the Yammy part number? Sometimes you can decode it.....
    Other thing to try is a Fuji-Loc type, found on newer bikes like the FJR, etc. There is a metal tab in the thread to act as a thread locker.

    The part number is 90171-14031-00.

    It is available online. There are also probably plenty available in the parts pile of several members here.
