COLORADO!!

The Colorado Vintage Motorcycle Show has come to an end. Fun event. They had a pretty good turnout this year and the weather was just about perfect. Lots of bikes to see. Yamaha had pretty good representation, as well as some pretty unusual and rare stuff.

 

Denver area folks...this Saturday, August 29th is Vintage Bike Night at Performance Cycle from 3-6pm. I plan to be there with the 900. Maybe some other XJ's in town might show up too?

Fun time at the bike night. They had a pretty good turnout, and Yamaha was well represented. Check out the one-owner spotless RZ and the one-off YZ-400 "twin".

















Around the middle of the event a fast-moving squall came through and gave a thorough soaking. A few riders decided the best time to leave was right as the rain was starting and were soaked before they even got out of the parking lot. Those of us with patience waited around for 20 minutes or so for the sun to come out and were able to have a dry ride home. Can you spot the 900?





This was the first vintage-themed bike night that this shop has put on, and from what I understand, was one of the biggest turnout's they've had. Sounds like they plan to make it a regular occurrence. I'm all for it! Not a lot of vintage stuff on this end of town. I'll be back if they do.
