Hello, I just purchased a 1990 Radian as a project bike. I hope i am in the right place !

Odometer states about 84k, but the speedometer doesn't work. So no clue on actual mileage.
Motor starts easy and holds idle pretty well. transmission seems to be ok.
Its going to need some work, but thats why i got it !

I already have a long list of things to fix before i can get out on the road...
Tires, Airfilter of some type, Petcock needs a vacuum line to work properly, brakes, lights, etc....

Welcome to the forum. Congrads on the bike. Lots of great folks here to help you with any questions you might have.

Is the bike a running machine? Going through those carbs might be a good first project. Not having an air box also might be interesting. Constant velocity (CV) carbs like to have an air box to run right.

Keep us posted on your progress.

The bike is running. Starts up quick and seems to hold an idle. The missing airbox is going to be interesting. I can go buy one , but i am going to try and 3d print something.
I was able to ride around the block a few times and shift through the gears. Its not safe enough to go fast ( old tires, iffy brakes etc).
I have a box of parts to go through, but none are the air box ( and i noticed some are for a different bike )
Right now i am trying to get the petcock off. The tank has some leaks that need to be addressed.
Tomorrow i am going to get the title transferred into my name, assuming that goes OK i will be diving into the bike to make it rideable again :)

I went and got the title paperwork taken care of. Oil changed and i am starting work on the gas tank.
There are some pin hole leaks in the gas tank i need to repair.
The bike starts up really quick and idles ok, but after giving it some throttle the idle remains high. I noticed the throttle cable housing is broken where it goes into the throttle housing on the handlebars. So thats the next little project.
Meanwhile, i am keeping an eye out for a stock air box, and exploring options to 3d print one. If anyone knows a .stl someone already made for the airbox... that would be awesome :)
