I have been having a few issues in the morning with my bike. When I take of it bogs down, sometimes it does it in 1st, sometimes in 2nd, i'll give it a bit of gas and eventually it will take off. Sometimes it is kinda jerky though. Once it warms up it is fine. The temps atm are about 35 at night, so it's pretty cold in the mornings. I usually choke it, crank, and let it warm 2-3 min. Maybe I should let it warm more?

Sound to me like you need a tune up. Let it warm up good first before taking off. These bikes are cold blooded.

    Bad clutch symptoms:

    Doesnt do its homework.
    Talks back, often violently.
    Wont finish meals
    Comes home after curfew
    Wears sunglasses 24/7 8)

Anyway, what weight oil are you running in the engine?
How clean is your oil? Flushed/changed often?
    Clutch cable adjusted correctly?
Starter jets been cleaned spotless in the carbs?

Mine does something simmilar and I feather it a bit while starting out.
After a block or so...perfect shifts!
Never bothered me enough to start troubleshooting, just a part of the warm up.

Bogging down sounds like it's still cold. Try taking off with the choke on and see if it improves.

If it does........it's probably just cold.......

I'm using Shell Rotella T 15W40. I let it warm up 2-3 min longer today amd it ran much better, probably just the cold
