    Hi,
I've come across these M/C Enterprises Multi-fit Highway Bars in a few spots (Dennis Kirk, J.C. Whitney, eBay)
Has anyone used them? Any idea on the fit/look/etc.?
I'm winning an auction on eBay right now... the guy said they are from an '85 Maxim..I'm still learning but I think there are some differences between that one and an '83 Maxim...
any thoughts? I'd appreciate all the help I can get.

hmm look very solid, although they might have exhaust clearing issues on my bike(still using stock headers), maybe you'rs is different. failing them beign highway bars i bet they could make some bitchin handle bars.

I would go for the 3 point engine guards with highway pegs attached to them, that way you get some serious engine protection to go with it. IMO, the engine guards/highway peg combo looks better too, but it is more expensive.

I just bought new 3 point engine gaurds and I feel If I put highway pegs on them they would be to close, my legs won't stretch out far enough.
I kinda like the ones above.
Take some pics when you get them installed.
I'd be interested in seeing how they look on the bike.

I have stock exhaust... I thought they might not fit either but I've seen them in Kirk & JCW and the listing claims that they'll fit our bikes (I'm always skeptical of universal parts) RE: the case guards, I can't seem to find any that say they'll fit a 750, any I've seen (also M/C Enterprises) only say 650 which doesn't make sense to me. If I win the auction, I'll def take pics and throw them on my gallery.

If you like the look of the case guards, I've seen some offset mount foot pegs that could give you a few extra inches more stretch...

    Try:
    Dennis Kirk
If the above link doesn't work, just search "offset" in the metric bikes section.
I only reference Kirk because it's the only catalog that I have........
    Some manufacturers include:
    Kuryakyn
    Drag Specialties
    Big Bike Parts

Good luck... send some pics of which ones you get.
    -Moe
p.s. where did you get the case guard? any maker or model#?

Alright, highway bar installed and operational. The bar actually fit not to badly, but i would perfer them to be a little lower. There's only 1 spot on my bike that you can mount them, and that's just above the exhaust pipes on the frame just below the frame gussets. I will try to get some pictures of them soon.

All and all im happy with them, im glad to have somewhere else to rest my feet on thoes longer rides.
