First of All I know this is an XJ site , But I value and trust your opinions and that is why I choose to put it up here . I have a honda Jazz 2007 scooter , ("metropolitain" in the USA," Scoopy "in Japan), I tried starting it up this past weekend . It ran fine when I closed it last yr . (removed battery, drained Gas ,ect
When I put the key in the on position , The brake lights and speedometer lights come on , however the Headlamp does not. And it does not start... Seems to be an electrical problem .

AS well I can hear what sounds like humming noise followed by a Clicking noise coming from the motor and then nothing ...I guess my question is what the hell is that clicking noise. Starter? relay? oil pump motor?

    Meh!?

Jump it with a car (not running)

It's not the oil pump. (IMO)

    How cold is it?

Really? a 1 year old Honda, garage kept, never seen salt won't start?
I've got a 22 year old Elite a guy just ran in to a ditch at 45, park it in the rain, never seen a garage, runs fine.

Is yours still under warranty? Got spark? Good luck with it.

? blech... thats my luck these days . Im sure its something too simple it has me scratching my tired mind . Im guessing it is a fuse that blew when I took out the battery, or a bad connection . In the worst case , i have a 1 yr full coverage warranty with the Honda dealership .

Well The Topic ends here ...

Seems All my worries are over. I am retarted at times....I Should start smoking "the weed " again . There is a Anti theft mechanism with the Front and rear brakes . One must hold down the two in order for the Electric starter to function. It has been 4 months since I've ridden it and prior to that Rode it for 3 weeks when Bought new last October ... I always Kick started it , for the fun . After re reading my owners manual one night , I came across That lil tid mit of info followed by my hand smacking my forehead . Anywho problem solved . Thanks anyway people .

Beautiful! I love it! Don't you just love this stuff? Hell, I'm even relieved for ya! Cheers me up and I'm not even there!

As Will Ferrell said in Old School, "Good stuff. Good stuff. You keep on truckin'". Or something like that.
