Twitchbiker is selling me a luggage rack I want for my 81 650Max, so I went to the UPS store to see roughly how much freight will be from Mass to Tx. (Twitch guesses it'll weigh maybe 25-30 lbs).

UPS says lowest rate will probably cost around $53. Being out of touch on shipping I was surprised, but whadda I know? That may be a bargain these days.

Honest, I'm not whining; I'll do what I gotta do. But thought I would at least check with you experts, just in case y'all may know some better shipping option. Time is no big concern.

    as always, thanks!

Try a bus company. They may be a bit slower, but that's how I send things that are bulky and not time critical. The prices are usually better.

Thats sounds about right for 25-30lbs, I had a tank, carbs, side covers and other misc shipped UPS from Mass to Houston and it was around $46.
