    YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW!

Winter went away just like that and it is suddenly BIKE SEASON! Rode screaming down the street so if the neighbours had any question about my sanity, they don't now. The truth is out - Pete's a nutsocrazybikerguy.

Just over a month 'til the Bike Blessing - hope my luck holds out that long. Amazing how many people actually saw me on my bike tonight, unlike midsummer when bikes seem to blend in. Tonight, every - and I mean every - driver starred at me like they had just seen an alien. Good for me, but almost as distracting as driving with a cell phone. And that's another thing that's great about old Nova Scotia - driving with cell phones is now illegal and will cost you $250 if caught, and that is great news for us bikers. Less distraction = more chance of being seen.

Safe riding to all XJ Bikers and all other two wheelers. Have a safe summer guys and girls!

    Lies. All Lies.

Must be nice. Still lots of crappy road conditions here in St. John's...

Yes, it seems that our "Indian Winter" is about over for this year, at least for now. Today was the second day in a row this week that I was able to ride to work! Lots of bikes on the roads today, and I was one of them!
I too am looking forward to the Bike Blessing. My sticker from last year is still on my bike.
    Ride safe everyone!

The warm Spring Breezes have started to nlow through New England. Unless Mother Nature plays a mean trick on us; we could be out of Winter's grip within a week.

I've had the Maxim out for a Tuning-up ride a couple of times.
I'm going to change her Oil and Filter and render this Bike of mine "GO. Flight Prepped and Ready To Answer All Bells"

There just isn't much to do after doing a Month-long "Living Tweak" to bring my Mixtures to the state of light brown on all the Plugs.

I'm ready for the Fun-times. Come-on Sun! Warm it up around here and let the Road Crews fill in all the mini-canyons made by snow plows.

I'm thankful I don't. You couldn't pay me to live where it snows... and one person I know has tried. I moved out here to get AWAY from that crap.

I managed to get out to the highway last night, too. As Jeff said, we had a freakish blast of winter weather from Mother Nature and it brought my riding to a stand-still. Last night was the first time I touched the bike in a week. I was starting to go through withdrawals.

Withdrawal? I just got my bike home Saturday after working on it every weekend since January. And what has it done all week since Sunday here? FREAKIN RAIN!!!! I'm like a junkie waitin' for his next hit. I can't even sleep. Weatherman says it will be beautiful this weekend; it better be, me and my buddies have a group ride planned. God help the weatherman if he is wrong.........

I just got back from my first ride of the season! PSteele, I'm from Nova Scotia too, but I'm in Fredericton for school right now, the snow banks are still 4 ft high, but the roads are clear and my driveway finally melted
