cases split, list of items to be replaced

    ok cases finally broke apart. does anyone have a list of things that should be replaced while im down there?

    things I already know I need-
    starter clutch ( root of all evil )
    timing chain and guides
    new pistons and rings ( stock )

    anything else?
    anyone know where I can order these parts cheap?

    I'm doing the same right now... team alpine has a good order site, and is very prompt ... OM parts. Get a Haynes manual for your bike. They also have the spec's for your bike, which means if the parts are in tolerance you might not have to replace them (pistons) ... but this is not a cheap undertaking!!

    i think once you change the pistons you have to change all the bearings... but i'm not sure

    I already cracked one of my pistons, I know ive asked this question before but I was gonna have my head ground down and a mild port and polish job, he says the best thing I could ever do is to bore it .50 over.

    anyone know links where I can get all these parts that need ordering.
