    Luna3.

Had a quick look at that site, thought the item on the ACE CAFE was great.
Back in the 60's when I was an orrible greasy ton-up boy I used to spend a bit of time there with my mates. In those days I lived not too far from the Ace. The Ace sort of died when the Japs flooded the market in the uk and killed the british bike industry off. My company had offices behind it in the 70's and it did look sad.

The Busybee was another mecca for us yobs. Was never a member of the the 59 club though a couple of my pals were, did have a club badge on my left shoulder though, I thought it looked good opposite the Stars and Bars on the right.

    Happy days.

    Faighaigh.

Not much specific to XJ's, but lots of good do-it-yourself stuff. I was searching for horns myself. Probably put a set of Fiamms on this summer.

I read someplace the the sound from our stock horns goes like MEEP, sure does!

A neighbor told me last night, after his little grandson had been tooting the horn on the bike, I have mice in my garden that fart louder and with more passion. Probably not too good a translation but he had a point.

The horns on my bike didn't work when I got it, so I pulled some off of an old Volvo 240. People MOVE!

There was a woman in my MSF class many moons ago who had a Virago waiting for her when she finished the class. Her husband has outfitted it with a set of air horns. Holy NUGGETS was that loud. It sounded like a semi was breathing down your neck.

I could easily tuck a set behind the Vetter and if I keep the bike past this rocky second honeymoon, I'll probably go for it next year sometime.

I saw a set of air horns for the XVZ12 on ebay, looked like it might have been a factory option on those bikes! They did have an onboard air compressor that controlled the front fork air and rear air, so it wouldn't have been much work to run a set of air horns too!

Probably these. They are the loudest horns you will find anywhere. I've also heard from people who have installed air horns that their performance drops off over time, probably due to wear in the air pump.

I assume you mean "loudest [non-air] horns you will find anywhere." The text right on the page says they're not as loud as air horns.

    Just picking nits here.
