I was given a motorcycle tent trailer but uncertain if my 1985 Yamaha xj700 Maxim X could even haul it. Anyone try this?

It probably would if you were bold enough to try it and didn't plan on going very fast. They even have side cars on single cylinder SR500's and I doubt it's any heavier than a side car if it was made for a bike. What does it look like and how heavy is it?

I inherited my dads 81 XJ650 a few years ago. When he bought it brand new, he constructed a custom hitch that mounted to the back. He hauled a small trailer back and forth from MN to Kentucky on it, and from Western MN to the Black hills. I took the hitch off when i got the bike and pitched it when i got the bike.. now i'm wishing i hadnt. maybe i'll just build a new one.
