Value of an 82 650Turbo?

    I found an 82 turbo with 14k on it, very nice shape, but the guy is taking offers. I have no idea where to start.

    ditto on not affording another now (esp. from MN), but if bike is truly sound price seems pretty fair to me.

    1200-1500 is what that condition of bike goes for.

    I bought mine for 600. still pretty decent condition.

    It sure looks like he babied it and took good care of it ...

    I'd say if its a faultless runner ... offer him the 15-Hundred and RIDE!

    Turbo's are tough on maintenance. You better be able to spin wrenches.
    But, if you have the smarts to keep a bike like that maintained and repaired it sure looks like a good deal for the money.

    Somebody is going to find it and snag it.
