Cleaned my engine up, rinsed it off, and cranked it to let it dry off some. I noticed I have tiny little bubbles coming from the boots on the ngine side that connect up to the carbs. Whats involved with replacing them? Is it as easy as takem off and stick new ones on, or is there a gasket in there somewhere. Also has anyone had any luck just resealing them with an adhesive? Last question is, how much do new ones cost?

Rubber cement does NOT work. Well, it works until the engine heats up and then it melts and comes right off. So high-temp RTV is the ticket.

You will need a gasket. I tried using some Permatex, it just melted with the heat and got sucked into my engine. New carb holders should come with a gasket, though. If not, it's easy to make gaskets from a sheet of gasket material from your local auto parts store.

They're pretty spendy for a hunk of rubber so you might try sealing them first. I got 2 on eBay for $37 shipped.

I've decided to just sell the bike. It runs great but I put 40miles on it today and it just doesnt sit well enough for me. I'm too big and it's too small, plus they sell for a small fortune on ebay all day long. Thanks for all the info though, I'll let the buyer fix them
