Hey all, Chris here from Michigan.Found this site through a fellow member of clubchopperdotcom. Hope ya'll aint purists or imma get an earfull! Here is my 83 midnight maxim (or used to be anyhow). this was a nearly mint bone stock bike when I got it 8 years ago. I need cheap head pipes if anyone has an old set lying around.

Well,,CC is down so cant get to my pics at the moment, but I have converted this bike into a rigid frame, tank shift chopper. will get pics up asap.

Your pics didn't come up for me. Anybody else have that problem? I can see other pics on this site without problem.

I can see them as well.
Welcome Rice, while I am a purist at heart, you are more than welcome here. We forgive you for hacking a beautiful bike to fulfill your dreams. Just do her justice by riding her nicely and getting her lungs filled with fresh air!

It looks great...so far! Make it your own and don't worry about others opinions (and they will have them)
It looks like your on your way to a fun ride. PD

I cant see the pictures at work - the system blocks all clubchopper pics for nudity. I tried to follow the clubchopper thread at clubchopper.com, but except for the avatars and the first few pictures, I was missing all pictures.

I'll have to remember this thread when I get home!
