I have a seca turbo and as much fun as it is it would be nice to get some more power from the bike under 5,000 RPM's does anyone know what I can do to get a little more up and go?

900 crank and rods will fit. Depends how much time and money you want to sink into it. Standard response is that any similarly sized sporty bike built in the following 25 years will outrun it for less money than it would take to hotrod it, if that's what you are after. It has an all or nothing powerband, it's just the nature of the beast, which makes it a frustrating bike at anything less than highway speeds. Another member machined his turbo casing to allow the installation of a TC-04 impeller which apparently dropped the powerband by 1500rpm or so. The 900 Seca motor is the way to go. The 900 Seca is a much better bike though, which would make ripping the motor out of it a bit of a pointless endeavor, unless the bike is well and truly shagged.

I looked at the other posting and it (you) said that the tc03 which i believe is stock can take a tc-04 with some modifications and make the boost come in lower at 3,500 instead of 5,000. Do you know of any shops or online places I can trust to send my turbo into and have the upgrade from tc-03 to tc-04?

No. Another member (Injunheer) did this to his bike personally.

this involves porting the exhaust housing as well as the compressor housing to get the new blades to fit.

honestly that's way too much work, but i've been told that from several places...

If you're unsatisified with your bikes performance, i'm gonna say buy a new bike.

you can do the normal engine mods if you want. These engines come with forged internals, and a lower compression rating, also they have "pressurized carbs" and a fuel system which makes turning up the boost easier.

If you want quicker boost, port the exhaust housing, and port the compressor output. mine was 'around full boost' by 5200rpm..

the problem with these bikes is they were designed to have 'constant' boost. but with being so tiny and awkward, would only get going once the engine got going.

Stock psi is at 7, the 'upgrade' kit makes it 12psi. with a proper setup you can attain 15psi.. but please, don't disconnect the wastegate, don't put a washer anywhere, don't re-route the boost sensor to something else... just pick up a manual boost controller, or look for how to make it from Home Depot parts, and use that to control boost.

tuning the carbs will help out with power.

but ultimately if you want more from the bike, you're gonna have to give it more. Upgrade the tc03-06a turbo to a tc04-09b turbo. it'll just require a different flange on the turbo-collector. it's a slightly larger turbo, that should run lower RPM's, but boost more CFM when going, it also has a max PSI of 15...
