    Hello all.

My name is Chris and i do not own an XJ just yet however i should hopefully be the new owner of an 83 XJ750 Seca by the end of the week. There is one other buyer looking at the bike at the moment as well but i cannot even think of getting it till friday since that is when i get paid. Either way i came here to learn more about the bike. What is there all needed to know about this model just to get started?

Not entirely sure on that just yet..right now i need to get it road worthy...its going to need new fork seals and right hand controls for now...rest of its needs are cosmetic other then the rear brake pads needing replacement eventually.

so do i!! Still kinda trying to figure out how im gonna set the bike up..the main reason i even looked at buying it is because its a more relaxed bike compared to the Interceptor i also own. Chances are it will recieve some aftermarket parts..just not sure what just yet...

Nah the roads are perfectly clear...however it looks like the other buyer didnt back out..not sure just yet...but the car that was to be a package deal with the bike is gone...and the other buyer was offered the same deal i was...but the bike is still there so not sure just yet...mind you it may be a moot point now anyways..since my car just got impounded after i had to leave it parked at a site due to the battery completely dying..So now i gotta get the car out of there and sadly that means bye bye XJ money... :( :(
