    It is time for me to make some room. This bike has been sitting for about 2 years as I got a newer one. It ran back then but I have not made any attempt to start it since. Definitely needs a new battery. Here is some info:
    1981 XJ750
    24K miles
    Owned for ~7 years
    Tires are only slightly used. maybe ~1000 miles
    New clutch
    New clutch cable
    Rebuilt forks ~5 years ago
    Shaft drive - good condition
    I replace some of the wiring with newer stuff; i.e fuse box, tail lighting
    I replaced the exhaust system when i got the bike because it leaked with a stock replacement. I think it is still intact.
    Seat does have some tears
    The gas take has been coated on the inside to prevent corrosion.
    I think that it needs new paint. some rust in various spots
    I replaced the rubbers on the carbs ~6 years ago.

    I would be willing to part out the bike if I get enough requests for parts.

    That bike has a lot of potential. If you weren't so far I'd love to have picked it up.
