Oh man thats cool. Looks great.

As a tip for next time, try clearcoating the sticker in. THats what i do with my projects if i need to use stickers.

However i Recommend you really like the sticker if you clearcoat it in... cause then you gotta stick with it.

Actually I did clearcoat over the stickers. It definitely made them look more painted on, and apparently will make them last longer.

And Woot, I'm a total noob to this whole painting thing. I can maybe tell you what NOT to do. haha. Anyway, I got a couple of imperfections and other mistakes. Pretty much all of them were due to my impatience. I seriously live to ride, and I couldn't bear to have the bike out of commission for very long. So it was only about a week from the time that I took the parts off of the bike to the time that I put it back together. Anyways, take your time, and it'll turn out better. I wish I had taken more time, but then again, I don't think I could go another day without riding.

Here's a "before" picture. It's pretty much the only one I have of the old paint job.

Ya, it was raining here (Seattle) most of the week. I hung a tarp out over my deck to spray the paint, and then hung the parts from the shower curtain in my bathroom with a space heater and the fan going. Probably not ideal, but it worked.

Looks really good Jason! I was painting mine the other day too. I got everything painted, but found more orange peel than I cared for, so I wet sanded it yesterday and hopefully can finish up with two more coats of smoke tinted clear metal cast paint. I hope it comes out half as well as yours did. I know what you mean about not wanting to be without your bike. Mines been taken apart and prepped and painted for 2 months now, and it DRIVING ME CRAZY!
