LED's

    To make an LED taillight, would I wire the LED's in series or parallel? Also, would I need a resistor on each LED, or just one for the whole bunch? Thanks.

    you would most likely wire them in parallel, with one resistor in series to all your LED's.

    Make sure that the resistor you use can handle the total wattage that all the LEDs draw.

    High brightness LEDs have a very measurable wattage factor.

    I would just buy one of the 360 degree ones on Ebay for $15.
    The have like 15 LED's plus the current limiting resisters built in.
