Does anyone know how far apart the cones are on the weaving part of the test? I'm trying to get some practice but I can't find a practice course

I know in the Ontario books here is Canada it tells you the distance, I can't remember exactly, but I believe you can fit a truck in between them lol.

Ok, maybe not that far, but they were far enough to make me laugh and ask whats the point.

Did some research - looks like it's 5 cones, 12 feet apart, every other cone offset by 2.5 feet.

Check out this document from Vermont - apparently they use the same test. It's on page XII

Same test in Colorado - 5 cones 12 feet apart with a 2.5 foot offset.

    Check out www.ridelikeapro.com

After a few hours doing some of the practice drills shown in his DVD's, you'll be able to whip through the cones with no worries.

Make note of the offset Jim mentioned. I practiced with the obstacles in a straight line. The offset made it harder.

Ya, heres a scan of what we do here in Ontario...

It appears we do not have the offset which would make it a little harder, and we get 15 feet in between each cone. Look like us Canadians have it much easier then you guys (which I consider a bad thing, should be equal).

Don't worry, you'll be fine! I have to take my test in July - so far away:(

With 2 cones next to each other, I bet the offset is 2.5 feet.

Well I took the test today. I past with a score or "0". I didn't hit any cones and I did the U turn in 17 feet. I practiced a little and didn't have any trouble with any parts of the test. I can't believe how many people were taking their tests. There were about 20 people taking the test. I also can't believe how many people failed the test.
