Part interchangeable?

    I just bought a 1980 Xj650 Maxim. The brake master cylinder is shot, so I need a new one. Does anyone know what years would all work? Are they pretty much all the same thing?

    I paid 45 dollars for mine , fast shipping . had mine on the bike within 15 mins of ups dropping it off. works and looks great. I am a very happy camper. but i asked the seller to findout about a matching clutch lever , he said there is not one yet.

    Those will work with my bike? I'd have one shiny part on it, and the rest old. haha

    yep they work great . until they get a clutch lever to match i won't cry about it . :)

    You'll have to cut the exsisting wiring and put new connectors on them . nothing too bad .. like I said it works great .
