Most bike yards at least the ones around here have so much stuff that you can't call and ask. They could care less about looking for parts from a bike that old. I have found you have to show up in person and look for yourself. Its so disapointing to see all the old yamahas just sitting out in the weather with weeds growning all around. I have found some pretty good items that were just forgotton long ago. The biggest yard close by is www.sportwheels.com He has alot of bikes but he charges alot to pull parts and ship. try to email and see if he will respond. Good Luck

I'm also looking for a sissy bar, I always have trouble finding a spot to put an extra helmet, after I drop my kids off. but I refuse to let them come with without a helmet, and I wont ride without one.

I thought if I had a sissy bar on there, even a small one, I could put the extra helmet on there when not needed.

Thanks for the responses. I have checked all the local yards with no luck....but did find a upper tree and a headlight to start my changes to the stock bike. But yeah I will check out that site.

Don't you have a helmet lock down by the seat latch I see a lot of people put their extra helmet there held on by the chin strap.

I don't know about your bike, but on mine, it puts the helmet right on the muffler, unless I'm doing it wrong.

I made my own backrest. It was pretty straight forward. I saw this article http://home.westman.wave.ca/%7Ejbe/Backrest.htm but I used angle aluminum instead square tubing. Now I'm working on a matching luggage rack. The article is for an 1100 but the concept was the same for my 750.
