    Cool ride!

Kind of hard to tell from the photos how the driveshaft connects to the differential.

Got any close up photos of that area?

hi,i will take a picture of that later.im painting the shaft so its not on in the picture.i cut the shaft in half off the car axle,& the bike shaft, put a bearing the right size over the section from the bike and slid it into the car shaft.drilled a metal plate and welded it on the end.turnes perfect no shake at all.get you a pic later.

hi,the differential and axle are off a robin reliant car.i cut down the axle and half shaft to make it narrower ,and line up the drive shaft.

Not a bad idea for the inverted forks.

Did it bolt right on or was there a bit of fab work?

I was wondering how the XJ would look with inverted forks! Very Nice! You got the front off a KTM, what year any pic on the assembly?

hi,no it dident bolt right on, the center neck bar on the ktm was bigger.i had to remove that & take the center neck off the origional triple trees from the xj not easy it was welded ,but it went in the ktm triple trees good.then i had to make brackets to take the gauges ,ignition switch, and had to make a front fender because the ktm forks carry the fender right under the triple trees.but there good strong forks & about 3 1/2" longer than the xj.i cut the neck too and increased the angle a little bit.thanks

    Nice touches all over!
    Love them rear wheels big-time!

I don't know how many trikes there are using a XJ Platform, but yours is one of the nicest looking trikes I've see with a YAMAHA Platform.

    Rubberlips,
Awsome looking trike! I like how you made the frame work for the rear wheels. Nice clean looking mod with a touch of custom work looks like you enjoy fabricating much like myself. I like when people think "out of the box" and do their own thing and your thing looks great! Just what I need for these Minnesota winters!!
