Got me new handlebars but.....

    Now I just took a quicky look this morn as I sped off to work but....are there little caps over the nuts that hold the handlebars to the bike? Theres no allen key holes showing? :roll:

    Yes, there should be little caps over the allen bolts. They are to prevent rust from happening. Like they are on mine.

    What kind of bars did you get?

    Thanks Dan....got nothing to radical more like the bars that come on the Seca's......not super low but I think these will give me more room in the cockpit...felt a little squeezed with the bullhorns....give it a try anyways.

    Okay..... :D got the new bars on....15 min job turned into an hour cuz one screw was seized.....well after 25 years bound to happen......
    Am quite amazed how the handling is so different(better) much easier to corner and just feels sportier.......now waiting for the Voodoo fairing to come on Tuesday.....will load pics when installed

    Fairing looks cool...cept need new mirrors....any suggestions? My stock
    mirrors are to low so I'm looking T my shoulders..what have you guys used BTW I installed Daytona bars, thinking of using those small bar end mirrors any thoughts?

    I had the same issue with my stock mirrors on my Seca. I solved the problem with a set of V Max mirrors. Actually they are EMGO OEM replacements for the V Max. I got them from Dennis Kirk.
