I'm getting ready to get a new rear tire. this is my first time taking my wheel off my manual doesn't say if I have to drain my gear oil do I?
Also do I need to worry about centering the wheel since it's shaft drive?

No need to drail the gear oil. For centering, just mind where the washers for the rear axle are.

Thanks alot. Another quest have you ever had the stat switch apart.
I think I'm having problems with the ground inside. I push the start button
and the oil light comes on and nothing, but one da everthing is fine then another day I'm push starting it. After the bikes warmed up I don't have any problems at all.

Check your start button for corrosion. Check your Ground connections. Also check your fuse block.

I played with the fuse block today and it seams to be doing better.
I haven't had to push it yet, but I do have one more start to get her home

My starter button has a little corrosion.
Sometimes I have to hit it twice to get a connection.
Good for now if it gets worse I'll duesch it out.

Check your starter solenoid(relay) also. When mine started going bad, it would take two pushes of the starter button before it would start.

Well I'm not sure what it is, but right now I'm broke down with a dead battery or bad ground. Not sure yet
