    Good day peoples,
I am new to the forum... anyone else in London or U.K?
I recently picked up a 1983 XJ550 and something tells me it's a US or Australian import, as we only had XJ600s here at that time. Frame number starts with 4V800 and lots has been changed on it - most of the electrics have been removed but it caught my eye and I had to have it!
I'll get some pics posted when I get a chance and maybe someone could tell me what it is exactly (or what it used to be before it was modified).
    Cheers,
    Peter.

    Nice one!
Here are 2 pics of this little horse:

There is some stuff I need to do to get it up and running. I would like to get an airbox, as it has these K & N type filter that look knackered, need a chain guard for an MOT and I'll change the bars. Maybe put a neutral light in the headlight shell. But of course, I need to finish working on my XV400 before I can start playing with the XJ!
Have a great day and ride free!

    Que pasa?
Yeah, I would like it in Spain... I used to enjoy going to a small town 50 km from Valencia a few years ago. Bit hot in the deep south though! Where abouts are you? Do you speak the idioma?
