    I just got my parts; 4 carb rebuild kits; and thought about doing them today, but read a few other posts about rebuilding, but would like a step by step, this is my first time. So if you know a link or like to type it, that would be great.

    Cheers

    In a pinch, you can probably cut your own. Or, you can talk to Chacal and save yourself the trouble by getting the right size the first time.

    ---------------

    ii) OEM and aftermarket Mikuni FLOAT BOWL GASKETS & O-RINGS:

    Die-cut replacement carb bowl-to-carb body gaskets correctly replace your torn or leaking originals. Note that the XJ650 Turbo body used a shape-molded o-ring in place of a standard paper gasket.

    For XJ700 "X", XJ750-X, and XJ900RK models:

    HCP85632 OEM Mikuni carb FLOAT BOWL GASKET, each:
    $ 7.50

    HCP8563SET4 OEM Mikuni carb bowl gaskets, set of 4:
    $ 27.00

    HCP1674 Aftermarket Mikuni carb FLOAT BOWL GASKET, each:
    $ 4.00

    HCP1674SET4 Aftermarket Mikuni carb bowl gaskets, set of 4:
    $ 13.00

    As for the process, I took the how-to file off the XJCD and added pictures. See if this helps.
