    Just talked to the guy - said its got around 29k on it.. Just had it inspected about 1-2 months ago, its on the road.... Didn't really know much about mechanics etc... Said cosmetically its good (little things here or there), and after sitting over the winter, it fired right up on the first try..

    From the sounds of it, could talk him down a bit (probably to about 600-650$)...

    ...thoughts? (would love to have a bike, while I fix my other bike, lol)

    first off, its an XS not an SX. so that guy does not know much. if you could get him down from his asking price id do it. sweet bikes.

    Welp, wife put the kabosh on it on my end (i just spent a fortune with chacal on parts and tools to fix up the bike I got ;-) )and I still have to work on her 1970 Volkswagen Camper "hippie" bus....

    Oh well ;-/

    But if anyone else in the area is interested - go for it ;-)

    I used to have one and it was a sweet bike put about 35000 before I sold it to buy a HD.

    saw that last night when I was surfing. There is a fixer maxim in dansville (south of rochester) listed in rochester and a $900 82 maxim in Syracuse (the seca's project enough for now)

    hey syracuse xj, i live in camden like 30 mi away from syr actually work in syr but anyways do you know of anyone around the area with xj 750 seca parts also do you know anyone in the are that pulls out dents cheap my tank has a ton of dents in it previous owner dumped it a few times i think let me know thanks

    I use to own a xs650..Very strong bike..same year too 79. I sold it fr 300 bucks when I let it sit out one year and it rusted and got a ripped seat.
