My Ratrod convertion ( before and after pics )

    This is what the bike looked like when i started it Except the tank was red and the side plastics where red also.

    This is as of last week, not done yet but gettin there, I lowered the front and back like 2in and painted the wheels etc etc. I just got a 4 to 1 header and pipe from Bigfitz52 (thank you again) But there will be some modifing to the exhaust and other things, Let me know what you think. I will keep everybody posted on things as i get them done

    Pretty sweet...Color scheme reminds me of the Mean Streaks.

    Yeah, no offense, but that bike definitely does NOT qualify as a rat bike! It's too nice.

    Dude! If that's the bike you started with, be sure to save the stock exhaust system! It looks to be in beautiful shape and there are a number of your fellow XJ-Bikers that would give their left you-know-whatski for that system. The rusty 4-1 is on its way, should drag the appearance down three or four notches at least.

    haha Ya i plan on keepin it for a little while till someone is plans on buyin it off me lol, Ya the 4 to 1 is goin to be mod'ed so will see how it turns out, i will post more pics when the exhaust is done.

    That pic Ass.Fault posted is rad as hell, haha. "Not for sale" scrawled on the side of it totally makes the bike for me. I'd totally ride that!

    I'd be hesitant to ride that particular bike. From what I can see, the bike has been in an accident. Look closely at the clearance between the front tire and the exhaust down pipes. Then compare that to RatBikes photo. I could be mistaken but it looks bent to me.

    frame is tweaked just in front (and a little above) the head?
