I HAVE HAD THIS BIKE FOR 20 YEARS, THIS SUMMER I TOOK IT OUT AND IT RAN LIKE CRAP, WOULD ONLY RUN W/ THE CHOKE 1/2 ON AND OF COURSE IDLE AT 4 GRAND, I HAVE CHANGED OIL, PLUGS, PUT CARB KITS IN, PETCOCK KIT IN, AND JUST SYCHRONIZED THE CARBS. PLUGS SHOW PERFECT BURN, I HAVE 125LBS OF COMPRESSION IN EACH CYL. AFTER ALL THIS IT RUNS AND IDLES GOOD BUT THE LEFT EXHAUST IS PUMPING OUT WHITE BLUEISH SMOKE WHEN I REV IT UP REALLY BAD AND SEEMS TO GET WORSE THE HOTTER IT GETS. I HAVE HAD THIS SINCE I WAS 15 AND I HATE TO PART WITH IT BUT, ITS DRIVING ME NUTS, ITS LIKE NEW AND ONLY HAS 9000 MILES ON IT. SOME BODY PLEASE HELP ME.

Sounds like oil getting into the cylinder and being burned during the combustion process. Maybe a cracked valve that expands after it gets hot enough??

stuck ring? I would ride it a bit (watch your oil level closely) and see if it clears up.

Could be a leaky valve stem or head gasket.
